Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Fighter in the Wind
Now that summer has come, I'm trying to find ways to amuse myself. So I drop by the local black market (I really would consider it a blackmarket) to buy some DVDs. And i guess the sales lady who has become familiar of my face and my taste immediately brought me a big stack of koren movies. joy of joys, i was able to buy a 7in1 korean action movies DVD. one of the movies inside was Fighter in the Wind.
I know you can read a better and good review about the movie somewhere in the internet, but all i wanted to point out is that the guy in the movie Choi Bedal,is REAL!!! I later found out that the guy is better known as Mas Oyama. And to make things more interesting, my brother bought one of his karate books a long time ago. I thought back then that the guy was a sissy and ninjitsu was better. But now that I have read his exploits, NUTS!!! the guy is a god by the standards of the greeks! If he lived back then, they would have mistaken him for Hercules! Honestly, the movie put some dramatatic touches to make it more "viewer-likable" and to make it more enjoyable. It really caught my attention when in the end, they told the viewers that it was actually real... the guy has earned both y respect and adimiration. just like the great miyamoto musashi, the world's best swordsman, he strived not just to learn his craft but also REALLY master his craft. something i think everyone lacks nowadays... tsk tsk
anyways, if you want to learn more about this modern day hercules, check out his site at www.masutatsuoyama.com
quote: "If you die one me, I'll kill you." -Kim Byeong-Choon from "Heavens Soldiers" who saved the life of a friend just before he was hit in the head by an arrow...tsk tsk
